On this blog I would like to feature famous people with dyslexia. Here is the first of many to come. More and more famous people are finding out that they are dyslexic and talking about it in the press.
Steven J. Cannell is a writer/creator of novels and television shows. He also found out as an adult that he is severely dyslexic. When he was in school he would study for hours and still fail his tests. Because of his right brain thought processes, Cannell was able to visualize words into a story. He wants to support dyslexic children not to quit school and to view dyslexia as a gift, not a curse. He feels his successful career was only possible because he is dyslexic.
